About Us

Washoe Legal Services (WLS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit legal aid organization founded in 1965.  Since that time, we have assisted thousands of vulnerable northern Nevada residents who cannot afford to hire an attorney.  Our team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to the legal system and that everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
